How To Consign
At
Twice Upon A Time we
consign gently used name-brand children's clothing,
furniture and school uniforms. We believe we are the
easiest
consignment shop in town to deal with. Consigning with
us is simple. Just drop off your items and we do
everything else. We steam your clothes, tag them, and
put them on our hangers. Once your items are entered
in our computer, we will send you an email detailing your
inventory. You will be able to view all of you account
activity 24 hours a day/7 days a week at
http://www.MyResaleWeb.com.
Items are accepted on a drop-off basis. For your convenience, you may print
and fill out the
Consignment Agreement form
prior to coming in. You will receive
payment for your items after your items sell. Account balances are paid by check. The check can be mailed to you for a $1.00 check fee or picked up in the store. We ask that you
call 24 hours
in advance and no fee is charged if picked up in person. You may also leave a balance in your account to use as store credit.
Account balances never expire. You can check your activity and account balance
online.
Items must come neatly folded in a storage bin, box, laundry basket or just handed to us. Garbage bags of wrinkled clothing will not be accepted.
To keep your
clothing "wrinkle-free", most customers have been successful by just laying the item open or folding it over just once. The more you fold, the more you wrinkle! Do not bring your clothes in on hangers
because we use our own hangers. Clothes are accepted for a
60 day consignment
period with you (the consignor) receiving 45% of selling price (50% for furniture).
Prices of all accepted items will be set by management at their discretion and the
price of consigned items may be reduced at any time without prior notice to consignor.
All children's apparel must be freshly laundered, pressed, or dry cleaned, in season, in current style, and in excellent condition. We will not accept
clothing that is stained, ripped, faded, or has an offensive odor. Please look over your items to ensure there
are no stains, holes, pilling, lint, or hair on them.
You DO NEED
to call before you drop off furniture to make sure we have room and are currently accepting that item! Cribs must come to the store assembled.Consignment items of furniture are accepted for a
60 day consignment period. As a consignor, you will receive 50% of the selling price of furniture (45% for clothes and uniforms). School uniforms are accepted for a
60 day consignment period with you receiving 45% of the selling price. We accept pants, skorts, skirts, jumpers,
shirts, sweaters, jackets for local schools only.
At the end of your consignment period any items not sold
will be available for you to retrieve. Any items not
retrieved within three business days of their expiration will become
exclusive property of
Twice Upon A Time. Items designated for
donation may be
donated to the
Madison County Department of Human Resources (DHR) for
their foster children.
